Bio

Wenqi Li is a Ph.D. student in Textile Technology and Management at North Carolina State
University. She holds a Master’s degree in Textile and Apparel, Technology and Management
from NC State and a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and Engineering from Jiangnan
University. Her current research focuses on integrating geospatial clustering, machine learning,
and time series forecasting to improve regional-level textile demand prediction and support
more efficient and sustainable supply chain strategies.

Wenqi’s expertise encompasses consumer segmentation, data-driven forecasting, and the
application of artificial intelligence in the fashion and textile industry. She is also interested in
simulation-based system modeling to analyze complex systems and support decision-making in
textile supply chain planning.

Outside of academia, Wenqi enjoys music, reading, photography, traveling, camping, exploring
different cuisines, and spending time with her cat Lulu.
