Olivia Ribando

Bio

Olivia Ribando is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering at North Carolina State University. She is passionate about exploring innovative approaches within the textile industry and researching new methods to improve textile products through her product development concentration. She aims to create solutions that support long-term environmental sustainability while remaining cost-effective and high-performing. She is currently assisting PhD-led research projects focused on promoting sustainable practices and the development of closed-loop textile recycling systems.

Outside of academics, Olivia enjoys baking, creating artwork, running, and attending concerts.
